To increase the momentum of scientific progress, the research outputs need to be shared as soon as possible. And to create a platform for sharing the outputs, the people from the community of practice, Open Access India along with others who felt the need to have such a platform in place came together to launch and develop a preprints repository for the Indian researchers, the IndiaRxiv – India Archive with the support of Centre for Open Science (COS).

However, due to some reasons, IndiaRxiv is no longer able to accept new submissions and a new server is being set up with the hosting support of the Society for Promotion of Horticulture, Bengaluru Existing content in the repository hosted by COS will remain accessible as part of COS’s ongoing commitment to Open Science.
